I was never a stargazer but
observed to be a romantic,
born feet apart standing either side of the meridian line I was destined
for
adventure and you could say I am a woman that has lived.
My love affair with art started in my formative years spent surrounded by
art and jazz, which has led me
down the road of perdition on many occasions.
I have an enormous appetite for life and retain a childlike pleasure in things I see and experience.
I've never been timid in using
colour; sometimes I see colours flattened and other times vivid and
vibrant.
I always try to evoke a sense of energy and mood. It fascinates me that two people looking at the same image see different things.
My poetry is vitriolic, my cooking an amalgamation of tastes and colours, my lyrics cinematic, my songs moody and melancholic. I am fortunate enough to be able to express an enthusiastic "thank you" to life through art.
