25th Anniversary Exhibition
It all started twenty-five years ago when David Lilford opened an independent art gallery on 76 Castle Street in Canterbury. The gallery flourished and eventually expanded to a second location on 3 Palace Street. Born out of passion, family owned and operated, we do our best to ensure that every visit to our gallery is memorable and special. We are proud to have stood the test of time and we thank you for your many years of support. Whether you have bought a piece, attended an exhibition opening, or have found some inspiration by browsing our collection, none of this would be possible without you.
Over the years Lilford Gallery has built up its eclectic collection of works by local and international artists working across a wide-variety of mediums. From the very beginning, our approach has been to work with people with whom we can build long-lasting relationships. The anniversary exhibition reflects this attitude, as we have asked our artists to contribute an original piece of art made especially for the show.
Join us in celebrating this milestone at our birthday show across both galleries! We also have a whole host of exciting events running alongside the shows throughout July - from workshops with our artists, to the opportunity to have your own pet portrait done.
