Stanley Donwood
Stanley Donwood is best known for collection of artwork for Radiohead’s records from 1994, creating their a rich, evocative and distinct visual identity.
Throughout his career he has also been involved in many short stories, a pulp-noir-thriller, a record company, book covers for JG Ballard’s novels, art direction for a film ‘The Bomb’ by Eric Achlosser and Smriti Keshari, the ‘Holloway’ book by Robert Macfarlane, numerous art installations in Bristol, London, the Netherlands and Sydney, as well as exhibitions worldwide.
Festival goers will be familiar with Donwood’s vibrant imagery as he has been the designer for the Glastonbury Festival poster for the past 22 years.
Donwood is currently working on books which will be published with Thames & Hudson and Penguin.
